Among the projects assigned to Tiba London is the construction of the Departments Complex of the Abbasid Holy Shrine. The project comprises a group of multiple, integrated facilities: the building consists of nine floors in addition to the basement level (the souterrain), which serves as a vehicle garage. It is located close to the shrine of Imam al-Abbas, near Al-Alqami Street.
By the grace of God, excavation and pile installation were completed earlier. On Thursday 19 January 2017, our company's cadres completed the pouring of the blinding layer (20 cm thick) beneath the foundations, and work continues with high morale to complete the project in the best manner and according to plan. Completed stages include the underground piles, groundwater dewatering, the waterproofing (blinding) stage, waterproofing with Plannkor and bitumen, foundation reinforcement (raft), and the reinforcement and pouring of the basement foundations and columns, stair walls and the building's lift-pit bases.
