A delegation of the Ministry of Electricity, represented by Eng. Jaber Muhammad Mazid, Director of Electricity Distribution in the holy city of Karbala, together with a group of specialist engineers, visited the French city of Metz and the German city of Rendsburg to inspect and receive the equipment of the Al-Kafil 33/11 kV secondary power station.
The visit comes in light of the contract concluded between Tiba London and Schneider Electric, to begin shipping the equipment to Iraq in the coming days — God willing — and to start the installation and commissioning works of the station within the next two months, within the agreed work-progress schedule.
